A SAFE SPACE FOR BLACK WOMEN

Workshops providing not for profit safe spaces to speak about and heal from trauma as it relates to the intersectionality of being a black woman

As a black woman, I understand the racism and sexism that so many of us have endured historically, as well as the micro aggressions we continue to endure in daily living.

I have created affordable workshops which aim to not only address and validate traumas but to heal from them and move forward in a positive way. Each workshop incorporates the universal method which serves to develop personal awareness.

MASTERING MINDFUL COMMUNICATION

Our support systems are like a garden. Often times we depend on our gardens particularly during hardships for strength and nourishment. That is how it is supposed to be! But the simple fact is that if we do not tend to our garden it will not bear fruit.


To maintain trust in a relationship is to water your garden. You can crop your plants, replenish the soil, and even regulate the conditions of your garden but without water your plants will wither and die.

Mindful communication builds trust as we learn to use our voice in a way that doesn’t diminish the voice of the people we love. Once this skill has been mastered we are able to show up authentically in our relationships, validating the needs of others without compromising our own.
